I think hands on activity is always important for learning. I have prior knowledge of adding xyz data to ArcMap so i was able to guide our group to collecting data in a way that did not need normalizing later in the process.

I thought this activity was perfect the way it was. Did not have a lot of prior knowledge coming in about this but learned alot.

Most of my knowledge about this lab and what we did at the mine was from the Unmanned Areal Systems class I previously took. This could have been more informative while the flights were happening and before. I'm not sure a lot of the class even knew what GCP's were at this point.

I did some work with the bad elf during my internship so I understood a lot of the concepts that we went over. The way the lab was taught was fun and a good way to teach this.

The step by step tutorial is good for getting a grasp how to use the program but never actually sticks when having to do it without the tutorial.
